The leader who ran away from leadership

Political leaders are those ‘lucky’ people who get to write their own political eulogies and none has been as self-defining and somewhat tragic as the words which spilled forth from Andrew Holness’s mouth while addressing a small gathering of JLP supporters in Western Westmoreland recently.

Obviously feeling the pressure of the campaign as it enters the last sprint to the finish, and stung by the PNP referring to him as ‘baby Bruce’ and recently some others in and out of his party calling him weak, he decided to puff up his chest and lay it on thick.
