In Case U missed it – Girls gone wild — the Maggotty edition
Maggotty High School, in St Elizabeth, was the focus of the latest video gone viral on social networks. The reported two-year-old video, which was leaked recently, portrayed students gyrating and behaving in a sexually explicit manner.
Ministry of Education officials condemned the behaviour of the students in the video and stated that the school should employ measures to avoid such a recurrence.
Following the incident, principal and senor staff members met to address the situation.
With regards to the disciplinary measures, the decision has been taken to counsel the student instead of expulsion.
A lesson in teenage parenting
Sixty-four teenage parents were beneficiaries of the Whitfield Town Community Action Plan Project.
The four-month parenting workshop which cost about $4,890,955 provided psychosocial support and skills training for the young parents at the HEART Trust/NTA.
The initiative sought to educate participants in child-care practices, being responsible parent, rights of the child, and how to access birth certificates and immunisation.
Chris Brown goes to rehab
Since the attack on his ex girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009, Chris Brown’s violent streak has landed him in and out of jail. In his latest incident Brown was charged for felony assault, after he allegedly punched a man in Washingston.
Following his release on bail, it was announced that: “Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility” in released statement, with the intention to “gain focus and insight” for his aggressive behaviour over the years. He checked into a facility, the name has not been disclosed, for his anger issues.
