TRENDING!

(PHOTOS: GARFIELD ROBINSON)

Last Wednesday, glitz-haven Regency Bar & Lounge provided the backdrop for a Salut! Wine and Champagne Week pouring hosted by Betco Premier Limited, and your All Woman trendspotters mingled among the invitees, singling out the fashionistas leading the pack. We even ventured into Melanie Schwapp’s birthday celebration — also taking place at the Regency — to put the final cap on this stylish rap sheet. Here’s what’s trending as we enter the festive season!

(EVENING) BLACK

Always chic, always relevant, after-dark black is still the go-to palette for looking put-together on a night out.

9691

Nadine Burrowes-Seaga, customer service consultant (partied in a black

romper and neutral-toned ankle-tie wedge sandals.)

9737

Michelle Myers-Mayne, director at Restaurants of Jamaica (she glimmered

in this silvery black jumpsuit and black patent peep-toe heels.)

BLACK & WHITE

This perennial pairing refreshes itself this season in geometrics and florals.

9596

Renee Hartley, marketing & promotions manager at UWI Credit Union (chose this black & white floral wrap dress and Christiano Siriano for Payless heels for her Salut! night-out.)

9509

Dr Claire Chandler-Sparkes, optometrist at Refocus Ocular Jamaica Limited (styled in a black & white sleeveless shift, with zipper detail; accessorizing with ankle-strap high-heeled sandals and Tory Burch clutch.)

MULLET

This long in the back, short in the front silhouette will dominate in tops and dresses when it’s time to party-hearty.

9330

Avadaugn Sinclair, marketing manager at Best Dressed Chicken (opted for a gold-coloured mullet tunic, washed black skinny jeans, t-strap high-heeled sandals, and a black envelope clutch.)

9707

Katia Almeida-Dehring (color-blocked in this strapless black and royal blue dress and edgy white strappy high-heeled sandals.)

PEPLUM

Still a strong contender for silhouette of the season, this mid century shape is charging forward in a domino effect.

9362

Jhannel Townsend, brand manager at Betco Premier Limited (goes sweet in an acid yellow Forever 21 blouse, with Peter Pan collar, and peplum pencil skirt; and blue and green colour-block sling-backs.)

kellisha.jpg

Kellisha Lawrence, accounting agent at Betco Premiere Limited (anchored her sleeveless peplum blouse and orange pencil skirt, with a string of pearls and high-heeled sandals.)

SHIFTS

9386

Sharon Graham, managing director at Betco Premier Limited (blossoms in this black and red floral sleeveless shift, with bateau neckline; and black point-toe pumps.)

9478

Annalise Freckleton business account manager at Digicel (demures in this blue sleeveless shift dress with lace detailing; and black round-toe patent pumps, all copped at Burlington Coat Factory.)

SORBET

Quell that sweet tooth with a refreshing jolt of creamery colour.

9714

Jacqueline Stewart, director at Stewart’s Automotive Group (blushed in

a slinky soft pink number and Charlotte Olympia block-striped platform heels.)

9636

Ann-Marie Vaz, philanthropist (made her entrance in this airy tangerine BCBG dress and matching stack-heeled sandals.)
