Salut! Best Dressed Nov 14

It was a marriage of divine Celeste Gordon-catered bites and premium sips from Betco Premier Limited at Bin 26 as Best Dressed feted clients, staff and friends for a Salut!-themed evening Friday last.

Scores of invitees rubbed shoulders inside the wine and bistro space at Devon House, and outside an extended area converted into a mingling spot complete with white plush sofas and high stools. There were rave reviews for Chef Gordon’s seven-course bite-size menu and pleasant chatter of Betco’s seven bottle selections that were paired with each menu item.

We present snapshots from the Best Dressed/Betco Salut! affair.

THE MENU

Sesame Chicken in Won Ton Cups (paired with Caposaldo Pinot Grigio)

Seven-layer Smoked Salmon Bites with Caviar Cream Cheese and Caper Cucumber Relish (paired with Cupcake Chardonnay)

Crostini with Savoury Plantain Spread and Chipotle Braised Chicken (paired with Cupcake Pinot Noir)

Jerk Sausage Crostini with Dates and Blue Cheese (paired with Cupcake Pinot Noir)

Avocado and Cucumber Pinwheels with Tomato Salsa (paired with Cupcake Red Velvet)

Cumin Spiced Shrimp and Curried Pumpkin ‘Samosas’ with Fruit Chutney (paired with Cupcake Riesling)
