Versatile just giving thanks
RISING singjay Versatile said he is encouraged by the reception to his latest releases. Among them is the track entitled Nah Be Ungrateful.
“Nah Be Ungrateful is really about giving thanks to the Almighty and other persons who have assisted me throughout my life. It’s about giving thanks even when things are not going my way,” the 27-year-old told the Jamaica Observer.
Produced by Good Good Productions, the single was released earlier this year.
Christened Sheldon Taylor, the Portland native attended Titchfield High School.
He got his major break almost 14 years ago when he was introduced to the public by dancehall artiste Baby Cham at the stage show Saddle To The East in St Thomas.
He has since recorded tracks including Fren Til the End, Can’t Hold Me Back featuring Laden, Just Like Kingston, and Bank Inna Mi Pocket.
