REGGAE show Cream of the Crop is scheduled for the Ocho Rios Cruise Ship Pier in St Ann on December 28.

Organised by PurpleSkunkEntertainmentz, the show will feature artistes including Mavado, I-Octane, Jah Cure, Chronixx and the Zinc Fence Redemption band, as well as rising stars such as Jah Bouks, Iba Mahr, Nature, Kabaki Pyramid, Kelisa, and Kezmandi.

The Ruff Kut band will provide backing duties for most of the performers.

“We’ve always had the idea to do a classy reggae show, where one can expect the best possible performances, best setting, best possible bands, and best production in terms of sound and lighting. Cream of the Crop is a truly classy event and that is why we chose the Ocho Rios Cruise Ship Pier,” said Kurt Bruce, public relations officer of PurpleSkunkEntertainmentz.

Bruce said the live show promises new levels of production.

“The concept of the show is to do an annual event that will showcase the top ten artistes in terms of established superstars, emerging talent and musicians. We will produce a show that artistes, sponsors and patrons will look forward to every year and entices everyone, artistes included, to come with their best game,” he said.
