Tech christmas from atl
MEMBERS of the teenAGE team recently visited Appliance Traders Limited (ATL) on Half-Way-Tree Road to check out some of their tech products which they had available for sale this Christmas holiday.
As the team entered the ‘tech’ room they were immediately drawn to the Apple tablets, which they had on display.
Both versions of the iPad were available including the newly released iPad Air as well as the iPad Mini with retina display. The devices appealed to them for both their entertainment value as well as the productivity features they possess.
Not to be outdone, the Android-powered tablets were up next. There were a wide variety of gadgets available, each with their own pros and cons, but it was Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 and 3 (both the 7-inch and 10-inch versions), which the teenAGE writers found most impressive.
Other devices such as the Kindle were praised for the screen clarity and the AOC ranged tablets for their multiple colours and their cost-effectiveness.
Next up were the laptops, and assistant product manager Andrew Irons provided us with a range of MacBook devices that the teenAGE team greatly enjoyed.
The newest models were on sale such as the MacBook Air, which was extremely thin and lightweight and the new MacBook Pro, which comes with an extremely high-resolution screen.
Some writers even began playing around with the language features and were impressed with the multiple languages which the laptop knew.
Finally, the team got to see the newest line of quality audio device in the form of Beats Audio family.
Continuing the trend of providing the latest and greatest technology, ATL had for sale the newest Beats Studio, which promised a world-class experience in listening experience. The new Beats Pill is also available and has the ability to be the life of the party with its built-in loudspeaker.
Overall, it was an enjoyable morning spent with the ATL family exploring their products. And even though these gadgets are worth the cost on their own, there is an added incentive to buying them during the Christmas holiday.
With the purchase of any laptop or tablet during this season you will be eligible to one month’s free Flow Jamaica Internet service, so you will be able to use your product to its full potential.
