Perfect for a family

He recently got engaged to longtime girlfriend Siri Pinter.

And Carson Daly is clearly eager to put down roots with his wife-to-be and their two children.

The 40-year-old is under contract to buy a $6.499-million house in Manhasset, Long Island, according to Newsday. The 6,035-square-foot colonial house sits on 1.3 acres in the Flower Hill neighbourhood of the prestigious New York hamlet. The two-storey home, which was built in 2005, comprises six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and four half-baths. The property also features a swimming pool, a pool house and white-columned porch. The house was first listed in June 2012 for $6.875 million. According to Newsday, annual property taxes are $69,975. Carson is clearly looking to settle down after getting engaged in October.

The pair, who have been together for six years, already have two children — Jackson and Etta.

Along with hosting The Voice, Carson engages viewers via social media on the Today show’s new digital studio, the Orange Room. He found fame as a VJ on MTV’s TRL and was also a DJ for a Southern California radio station.

Not long now!

Gwen Stefani’s due date could be right around the corner, judging by that protruding baby bump. Although she has yet to officially confirm her condition, the singer left No Doubt as she headed to the Baby2Baby Holiday Party in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Gwen, 44, clad in a tight-fitting black camisole that was paired with sleek leathery black trousers and peep-toe black buckled booties, couldn’t hide the condition.

Over the black outfit she added a festive red plaid coat that probably wouldn’t button all the way even if she had tried. Gwen wore her trademark scarlet lipstick, and her platinum locks were curled 1940s style.

Despite her obvious girth, Gwen strolled gracefully even in those stiletto heels to the celebrity mom-friendly fete, which was hosted by Jessica Alba’s eco-friendly The Honest Company.

Gwen posed happily with the smiling Jessica for a photo at the event which also drew pregnant Rachel Zoe and her family, Busy Philipps, Michelle Monaghan and Nicole Richie. The What You Waiting For singer — who is married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale — broadly hinted that she was expecting in October when she was pictured cradling her bump at the Wallis Annenberg Center For The Performing Arts.

As Gwen expressed in an interview with Marie Claire magazine last year, she always wanted a third child but sort of gave up when it didn’t happen when she expected it to.

“I really, really, really wanted one [a baby] about two years ago. And it didn’t really work out,” Gwen said.

“So… I feel good with what we’ve got. Everything works out how it should. You can’t plan anything, right? You can try.”

It’s a dog’s life

His relationship with Nicole Scherzinger may well have ended, but one four-legged remnant of their stop-start romance was evident as F1 ace Lewis Hamilton strolled through Heathrow Airport on Saturday – their beloved pooch Roscoe. The distinctive bulldog was joining his famous co-owner on a trip to Frankfurt – and he had good company in the form of Coco, the latest addition to the Hamilton menagerie.

Lewis’s new pup was seen snoozing behind the plastic mesh of a dog carrier as the driver hurried across the busy terminal to catch his flight. Sporting a baggy red tracksuit and leather Aviator jacket, he appeared to be in a relaxed mood while a Heathrow employee laboured with a heavy-looking trolley laden with suitcases.

The Formula One star was later seen checking his belongings at the Lufthansa desk, with Roscoe appearing to catch the eye of fellow passengers as he balefully waited for his owner. Lewis later tweeted pictures of the two dogs enjoying the high life — quite literally — in his First Class digs on the plane.
