CELEBRATION TIME!
Patrons at Blue Beat in Montego Bay erupt into wild celebration on Tuesday night on hearing that Jamaican singer Tessanne Chin had won the top spot on the fifth season of the NBC talent show, The Voice.
Meanwhile, congratulations have been pouring in from across western Jamaica — particularly from the entertainment fraternity — for Chin.
Singer Mackie Conscious who described her success as “awesome,” noted that the singer is “one of the Jamaican talents that have been overlooked and only recognised overseas.”
Loyal Haylett, manager of veteran singer Half Point, and cabaret singer Shandy Man have also hailed Chin for “doing the
Jamaican music industry proud.”
