MONTEGO BAY, St James — Holland United scored three goals in 23 minutes in the second half to stage a dramatic comeback as they drew 3-3 with Norwood Strikers on Tuesday in the Jamaica Football Federation Captain’s Bakery and Grill/Charley’s JB Rum’s Western Confederation’s Super League at the UDC Field in Montego Bay.

Led by two first-half goals from Roshane Reid, second-year team Norwood Strikers led 3-0 and appeared well on their way to their second win of the season before Holland, winners of their previous two games, struck back decisively.

The point kept Holland United at the top of the points table, tied on seven points with Reno FC, two points ahead of Savannah SC and Granville FC, while Tomorrow’s People, who got their first win of the season by hammering Duanvale 6-0 at Jarrett Park, joined Norwood Strikers on four points each.

At the UDC Field, Reid scored in the fifth and 43rd minutes and Randy Douglas made it 3-0 in the 48th minute as Norwood Strikers made full use of their scoring chances.

The Trelawny club started their comeback when Stephan Bromwell scored the first of his double in the 58th minute before Romaine Lewis cut the deficit to a single goal in the 80th minute.

Bromwell then scored his second in the 85th minute to earn Holland United a deserved point.

At Jarrett Park, Tomorrow’s People snapped their two-game winless run with the biggest win of the season so far.

Davell Cornwall scored twice for Tomorrow’s People who led 3-0 at half-time.

Andre Atkinson in the 28th minute, Cornwall with his first in the 39th minute and Jermaine Cooper in the 45th minute gave the St James club a cushion at the break before two quick goals in the second half knocked the fight out of the Trelawny club.

Christopher Dyer scored his second of the season in the 55th minute and Cornwall got his second of the game in the 57th before substitute Shane Christie got his team’s sixth in the 90th minute.
