Windies elect to field after winning toss in 1st ODI v NZ

AUCKLAND, New Zealand (CMC) – West Indies won the toss and elected to field against New Zealand in the first One Day International (ODI) here at Eden Park on Wednesday.

The West Indies left out Kirk Edwards, Chadwick Walton, Tino Best and Nikita Miller.

Teams:

New Zealand: Martin Guptill, Jesse Ryder, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Brendon McCullum (capt), Corey Anderson, Luke Ronchi (wk), Jimmy Neesham, Nathan McCullum, Kyle Mills, Mitch McClenaghan.

West Indies: Kieran Powell, Johnson Charles, Darren Bravo, Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Bravo (capt), Narsingh Deonarine, Darren Sammy, Denesh Ramdin (wk), Sunil Narine, Jason Holder, Ravi Rampaul.
