KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Police in a statement issued a short wile ago has given the assurance that its members are actively investigating the disappearance of 50-year-old Jennifer Hardy Edwards, undertaker and proprietor of Bennett’s Funeral Home on North Street, Kingston.

Said the Police: “Since the matter has been reported to the Police, over 20 searches have been conducted in an effort to find Mrs Edwards. The services of the York Park Fire Department were also employed in the search of a pit in downtown Kingston. On all occasions, the searches proved futile. The Police have also conducted several interviews with Mrs Edwards’ associates. Further interviews were done with individuals in the Red Hills area of St Andrew to ascertain information relating to the whereabouts of Edwards.”

The Police are pleading with anyone with information that can assist in this investigation to contact Police 119 emergency number, Crime Stop 311 or the nearest police station.
