Young Windies beat Afghanistan by 9 runs

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CMC) — West Indies defeated Afghanistan by nine runs in their 5th place play-off match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup at the ICC Academy Ground No2 on Tuesday.

Scores: West Indies 215 all out (Allen 92, Coleman 37, Lewis 27, Fareed Ahmad 3-47, Mohammad Mujtaba 3-46)

Afghanistan 206 all out (Hashmatulla Shaidi 52 not out, Shahidullah 51, Jordan 3-44, Lewis 2-38)
