Teen Expo returns
Teen Expo Jamaica, returns with bigger and better surprises for its second showcase. The fun-filled and educational event specifically for teens, is organised by Promotional Links Industries in association with its title sponsor, KFC. The event will be held at the Girl Guides Headquarters on Saturday, March 8 between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm.
Teen Expo’s goal is to create a medium through which teenagers can be educated about various products and services specifically for them, all in one location. The event has been created with the teenager in mind, and is designed to focus exclusively on everything a teenage girl/boy will need. Teen Expo even showcases some talented teens through young entrepreneurship and performing talent. This year will feature a young entrepreneur village which will highlight teen entrepreneur’s products and services.
The event will not only feature booths, but also features interactive workshops and an exciting celebrity panel discussion which enables patrons to receive advice from various public figures. Pepita (from Suncity Radio, one of the event’s major sponsors) and D’Angel, are among the celebrities that will be taking part in a celebrity panel discussion on popular teen topics. These topics include, dealing with bullying, dating, and peer pressure.
Additional attractions this year include a performance by Tifa, career advice, fashion shows by D’Trends and Club Diamonds, a teen talent show, games, and lots of giveaways.
Other ativities will include the Pizza Hut Harlem Shake competition, KFC So Good Moves competition and the KFC Jingle competition just to name a few. Giveaways will be offered from Jamaica Producers, Cari-Med Ltd, Tutti Frutti, T Geddes Grant, and Carefree & Stayfree.
The organisers look forward to yet another excellent staging. Admission is free.
