Seaton to start for Reggae Boyz v St Lucia

GROS ISLET, St Lucia — Teenage forward Michael Seaton has been handed a starting place as the Reggae Boyz look to face St Lucia today at the Beausejour Cricket Ground in Gros Islet.

Kick-off is at 5:00 pm. 

The 17-year-old DC United player came on as a second half substitute in Jamaica’s 2-0 win over hosts Barbados on Sunday.

The British-based quartet of Adrian Mariappa, Wes Morgan, Garath McCleary and Rodolph Austin have also made coach Winfried Schaefer’s starting team.

The local-based players will return to Jamaica on Friday, while the ones playing their trade on overseas soil are expected to return to their respective clubs.

Jamaica starting XI — Andre Blake, Adrian Mariappa, Westley Morgan, Alvas Powell, Kemar Lawrence, Rodolph Austin, Je-Vaughn Watson, Romario Campbell, Garath McCleary, Darren Mattocks, Michael Seaton.

Substitutes — Gariece McPherson, Upston Edwards, Ricardo Morris, Renae Lloyd, Nicholas Beckett, John Ross Edwards, Deshorn Brown.
