A kick and a jump!
He’s visiting the world’s bestknown carnival city. And David Beckham, 38, was certainly keeping himself busy on his trip to the Brazilian capital, where he also found time to play sports. The former England captain enjoyed a friendly footvolley game with locals at Sao Conrado beach on Thursday.
The game — a combination of volleyball and football — was created in Brazil in the sixties as players got around a football ban by switching to the volleyball courts when police asked for their ball.
On Saturday the retired footballer and his manager David Gardner are planning to attend a parade of carnival samba school champions of Carnival at the Sambodrome exhibition centre in downtown Rio.
Earlier last week, David was spotted shooting a new commercial, which saw him walk out of a building, put on a helmet and ride through the streets of Rio de Janeiro.
Following his hard day’s work, the handsome personality was pictured checking out the view as he leaned out against his hotel balcony. David and his manager are both staying at the hotel favoured by Madonna and Beyoncé in the Ipanema neighbourhood.

‘Nothing but the kitchen sink!’
Nigella Lawson asked for nothing but the contents of her kitchen after her bitter split from Charles Saatchi. The TV chef, 53, who divorced the art dealer last year, got her fishmongers to remove her cooking appliances, according to friend Nathaniel Goldberg. In fact he says Nigella threw a party for those who helped her through her difficult year, including lawyers, her agent, make-up artist — and, yes, the fishmonger.
Nigella told the Mail last year: “One of the people I follow avidly on Twitter is my local fishmonger. I see what his catch is, then I direct-message him with my order and waddle over and get it.” Currently the only dealer in fish that the mother-of-two appears to follow is Rex Goldsmith of the Chelsea Fishmonger. Photographer Goldberg, who shot Nigella’s Vogue cover, told the magazine she found the riches that came with being part of a society couple with Saatchi, 70, difficult to deal with. And so the mother-of-two wanted no other material possessions than the contents of her beloved kitchen, reports the Mirror. Goldberg also said Nigella is finally getting back to normal and starting to enjoy life again after the storm surrounding the divorce.

TATT’S enough now!
He’s known for augmenting his body with intense workouts and a fair share of plastic surgery to correct damage inflicted from his stint as a professional boxer in the Nineties.
But Mickey Rourke is also a fan of permanently painting the canvas of his skin with an ever increasing number of tattoos.
The 61-year-old was spotted displaying his still ripped and muscular frame on Saturday as he whipped off his shirt for a brand new inking in West Hollywood.
The star, who sadly admits that his facial cosmetic surgeries were botched by “going to the wrong guy” for the delicate work, was spotted with some pieces of paper featuring ornate designs taped to his right arm.
The triballooking illustrations ran up the sides of the actor’s chiselled triceps, elbow, and just beneath his shoulder.
Rourke wasn’t topless the entire time, as he arrived in an argyle vest teamed with a pair of ripped camouflage trousers that exposed the area near his crotch.
The ill-fitting pants were a bit big on the star, revealing the top band of his briefs, but thankfully he used a long leather belt to tie them in place.
Showing off his admirably taut washboard abs, Rourke could be seen at one point strutting around Shamrock Tattoo slugging a Coke as he hugged another shirtless patron of the establishment.
