St George’s, Manchioneal to contest Portland FA Major League final
Buff Bay, Portland — Defending champions St George’s and Manchioneal advanced to the final of the Portland FA Western Union Major League following convincing victories on the weekend.
St George’s with a brace from Demar Easington in the 22nd and 75th minutes, along with captain Daniel Shaw’s opener in the sixth minute, defeated Buff Bay 3-0 at Lynch Park on Sunday, while Manchioneal, thanks to a four-timer from Kesslon Hall, blanked Eagle Strikers 6-0.
The final will take place on Sunday.
St George’s went in front early when captain Shaw fired home a free-kick around the defensive wall.
Then Easington added to the score midway the first half when he was perfectly placed to put away Kemar Miller’s blocked shot on goal.
The score was finalised when Miller and Easington teamed up in similar fashion.
