LIME wins eight Telly Awards for major advertising campaigns
TELECOMS firm LIME has won two silver and six bronze Telly Awards for its recent advertising campaigns.
Among the winning works were LIME’s Mobile Internet TV Campaign, starring local personality Joel ‘Kruddy’ Harrison; the ‘What a Time’ Christmas Campaign music video, starring dancehall artiste Konshens and Miami-based singer Tosh; and the LIME ‘Talk EZ’ One
Rate advertising campaign. Other elements awarded included lighting, videography/cinematography, art direction and sound/design for each work.
“We are extremely happy that our work, the result of a great synergy with our agency partner — Advertising & Marketing Ltd — has been recognised by yet another industry body. It was a tremendous year for us as a brand and we are not only encouraged by these awards but more so, the response of our customers who have responded positively to the way we have communicated our value message,” said Carlo Redwood, LIME’s vice-president for marketing.
Founded in 1978 to honour excellence in TV commercials, the Telly Award is one of the most sought after by industry leaders from large international firms to production companies and advertising agencies.
LIME, in a release yesterday, said the eight awards have brought to 15 the number awards received by the telecoms firm for local advertising work.
