Here are the top plays from Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals:
5 LeBron James continues to pile on the record in his destined Hall-of-Fame career. During the game he dished to Dwyane Wade for his 1000th play-off assist. Only 10 men prior to James had achieved such a feat.
4 Tim Duncan was particularly efficient on both ends during the game, scoring 9 of 10 from the field and grabbing 10 rebounds — leading his team in both departments to the win.
3 D-Wade managed to make the iLikes list for himself with a great play in the first quarter. A series of dribbles allowed him to evade Manu Ginobli who was guarding him on the three-point line, before he curved to the lane, faked a lay-up which got Tim Duncan in the air, then made a 360-degree turn for an uncontested basket.
2 Veteran shooting guard Ray Allen — more renowned for his three-point prowess — rolled back the years as he intercepted a pass on one end and powered his way down the floor before dunking on Danny Green.
1 Despite being dunked on, Danny Green still managed to top our iLikes chart this week. During a particular stretch in the fourth quarter, Green scored eight consecutive points for the Spurs after failing to score a basket all night. Green not only the scored two big three-pointers, but lead a fast break which ended with a dunk on Rashard Lewis. He added another three-pointer moments after for good measure.
