FLOW MaxPak customers get free access to World Cup content
FLOW, Jamaica’s leading cable service provider, yesterday announced that it will offer its MaxPak sports package customers free access to all matches for the 2014 World Cup tournament.
The service, which begins today, is the result of a partnership with regional sports channel SportsMax and Columbus Communications Jamaica Ltd, operators of the FLOW and ColumbusBusiness Solutions brands. Through this deal customers will be able to access World Cup matches via the Internet with special access codes allowing them to watch all 64 matches live from June 12 to July 13, 2014.
To access this service, customers should log into their account online at discoverflow.co/jamaica and retrieve their special code. Once activated, users simply log on to www.sportsmax.tv/fifaworldcup to enjoy the world greatest sporting spectacle.
“This agreement with SportsMax will bring the World Cup action to Jamaica in a way that has never been done before. This is our gift to our customers, so they never have to miss a game,” said Donovan White, vice- president, marketing and sales at FLOW.
“We understand our customers and we know that during this time they may have to be on-the-go or may be away from home, but they want to be connected to everything in their world, so we are keeping them connected to the content they love,” he continued.
Streaming major sporting events such as the World Cup has become an international phenomenon and this is the latest in a string of innovations being delivered to the Jamaican consumer by FLOW since its market-changing entry in 2006.
Columbus Communications currently offers advanced cable services, including high-definition channels, as well as the fastest, most affordable broadband packages in the Caribbean to residential customers in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Curacao, Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
