VCB second in Monaco 100m, Shelly Ann 6th

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Veronica Campbell Brown on Friday finished second in the Monaco Diamond League 100 metres behind American Tori Bowie (10.80) as Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce finished in sixth place.

Murielle Ahoure of the Ivory Coast (10.97) placed third while Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare took fourth place also clocking 10.97 seconds.

Double Olympic gold medalist Fraser Pryce, recovering from injury, managed 11.01 seconds the same time as fifth place Allyson Felix of the US.
