Don’t break the ‘Emancipendence’ holiday vibe
Dear Editor,
It really should be the first Friday in August and following Monday that we celebrate as holidays.
It would a great four-day weekend that would draw lots of visitors to feel the ‘Emancipendence’ vibes.
We could then market Reggae Sumfest followed by Dream Weekend in Negril as a 10 -ay super party for both tourists and Jamaicans abroad
It certainly would make a lot more sense than the clumsy broken week set-up we have now.
