Commonwealth Games: No medal for JA in women’s high jump
KINGSTON, Jamaica–Jamaica failed to secure a medal in the women’s high jump final on day nine of the XX Commonwealth Games at the Hampden Park Stadium in Glasgow, Scotland.
Saniel Atkinson-Greir cleared a height of 1.86m, a season’s best, to finish seventh in the women’s high jump final. Australia’s Eleanor Patterson, who cleared a height of 1.94m, also a season’s best, won the event while England’s Isobel Pooley took silver after clearing a height of 1.92. Levern Spencer secured the bronze medal for St Lucia, also clearing a height of 1.92m.
