An Indian forest official holds the tusks of a wild elephant that was electrocuted after removing them ahead of burial in Udaipur village bordering the Rani forests on the outskirts of Gauhati, India, yesterday. The tusker, which strayed in to the village in search of food, was electrocuted Wednesday night as it touched one of the unauthorised electric fences erected by the villagers to keep away the wild animals.
