Laff It Off held over
OLIVER Mair’s comedy revue, Laff It Off is back for two more weekends. The hit show has relocated to the Little Little Theatre at 4 Tom Redcam Avenue where it will play for the weekends of August 22-24 and 29-31.
Laff It Off, is playwright/producer Oliver Mair’s return to the theatre scene after 14 years. The comedy which features a cast of veteran actors, new-comers and media personalities, recently played for two weekends at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts at the UWI, Mona.
Laff It Off is social commentary which takes a humorous look on some of Jamaica’s most topical issues and parodies a number of social and political leaders including government ministers, former and present prime ministers, sports personalities including Asafa Powell and Usain Bolt and entertainers Vybz Kartel, Busy Signal, Buju Banton and Vegas.
According to the producers, the two additional weekends have been added to meet audience demand as well as to give theatre lovers an opportunity to enjoy the production.
The cast of Laff It Off includes Simone Clarke-Cooper, Patria-Kaye Aarons, Rodney Campbell, Mark ‘Bones’ Martin and Russhaine ‘Dutty Berry’ Berry.
