Red Stripe commits to Premier League sponsorship for next five seasons

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Red Stripe has committed to the sponsorship of the Jamaican Premier League football competition for the next five seasons.

The company has signed the five year deal despite a proposal by the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) for the introduction of a franchise system starting in the 2015/2016 season.

Red Stripe, sponsors of the Premier League for the past three seasons, did not divulge the sponsorship figure Wednesday night.
