Race Course beat the rain
Rain, which has been mostly absent in southern St Elizabeth over the last several months, came with a vengeance recently, cutting short the 2014 Social Development Commission’s (SDC’s) twenty20 cricket final at the Alpart Sports club. Still, there was enough time for Race Course of Clarendon to achieve victory over Old Harbour of St Catherine under the Duckworth Lewis method. A jubilant Race Course received $1.2 million for first prize while Old Harbour got $600,000.
