Joan River’s star-studded send-off

Did Joan Rivers plan her own funeral service? In a way it seemed the American Comedian and host of E! network’s Fashion Police, did plan her farewell ceremony. In her book entitled I Hate Everyone… Starting With Me, Rivers outlined what she would want her funeral service to be like. Some of her plans included “…I want my funeral to be a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action. I want Craft services, I want paparazzi and I want publicists making a scene! I want it to be Hollywood all the way… I want to look gorgeous… I want to be buried in a Valentino gown… And I want a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyonce’s.” She got the star studded affair she wanted with a guest list that included Sarah-Jessica Parker, Whoopi Goldberg, and Howard Stern. She, however, didn’t get her hair blowing in the wind like Beyonce’s or a Valentino gown as Rivers was cremated, but the service was as entertaining and witty as the 81 years old comedian was.

Jamaican releases international dance craze

Bobby Shmurda has been one of the most talked about names this summer-why? For creating one of the most popular dance craze, the shmoney dance. The 20-year-old Jamaican-American rapper released his single titled Hot Nigga that featured the dance which gained popularity quickly. The video has gotten over seven million views on YouTube and spawned thousands of vine videos and performances from artistes such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Drake, and Lil Wayne. The popularity of the dance and the corresponding popularity of the music video have led to the young rapper signing a recording deal with Epic Records.

Elephant man remix shmoney

Dancehall artiste Elephant Man has joined the Shmoney craze as it seems that from one Jamaican to the next, the Shmoney dance is becoming increasingly popular. Elephant Man released a new single titled Shmoney Dance which is a remix of Bobby Shmurda’s original song. The music video features the artiste and a group of young and old persons doing the dance — and in true Elephant Man form, his lyrics give instructions on how to do the shmoney dance.
