International Coastal Clean-Up Day
Jamaicans yesterday turned out for International Coastal Clean Up Day at several points across Jamaica.
The International Coastal Clean Up Day is an initiative that started 29 years ago in the United States by the Ocean Conservatory, a non-Government Organisation. Since then, 152 countries have participated, collecting millions of tonnes of trash and making the event the single largest one-day volunteer event.
