Dermatology Solutions in expansion mode

After three years of establishing business in Montego Bay, renowned clinical and cosmetic dermatologist Dr Arusha Campbell-Chambers, the founder of Dermatology Solutions Skin Clinic and Medi-Spa, is increasing her offerings in the resort city.
Come next month, Dermatology Solutions, will not only be providing treatment for a wide range of skin, hair
and nail disorders, but will offer training in a number of areas.
“We have now established what we call Skin, Body and Mind Clinic and Institution by Dermatology Solutions,” said Dr Campbell-Chambers of her latest venture, which will be officially opened on Saturday.
She said a number of specialists have been carefully selected, in an effort to provide excellent service.
“We have brought together a team of highly skilled, experienced and passionate professionals to treat patients, maintain well-being and to impart knowledge and skills to facilitate self-actualisation. So, in addition to our Dermatology and D’SPA services, we will be offer adult internal medicine, general surgery, haematology/oncology, clinical Christian psychology and nutrition,” she told the Jamaica Observer West.
She explained that the courses, which will be offered to only suitable qualified persons, include: chemical peels and microdermabrasion, introduction to dermatology, wellness, weight management, nutrition in various chronic illnesses, diabetes, thyroid disease and cancer education, while Fountain’s Beauty Academy will conduct classes in aesthetic skin care, make-up artistry and massage technology.
Dr Campbell-Chambers said there will be courses in customer service, certified customer service professionalism (CCSP), entrepreneurship and cancer survivorship.
“Our concept is to cater to the mind, the spirit, the body and the skin of the individual, and to train people so that they too can become entrepreneurs as well as enhancing the work force,” Dr Campbell-Chambers said.
Dermatology Solutions Skin Clinic and Medi-Span was established in Kingston nine years ago.
In 2001, a branch was opened at the Sagicor Montego Bay Commercial Centre (formerly LOJ Shopping Centre).
Yesterday, Dr Campbell-Chambers described the response to her Montego Bay’s office as “overwhelmingly positive”.
