Dr Constantine Campbell receives CC Hall of Fame induction
ROSE HALL, St James
Dr Constantine Alberga Campbell has become the fourth inductee into the Cornwall College Hall of Fame.
He was inducted at the recent annual Old Boys’ Men of Might Dinner/Dance held at Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort in Rose Hall.
Dr Campbell, who is internationally recognised as a specialist in research on soil organic matter and all aspects of nitrogen and crops, joins Professor Rex Nettleford, nuclear physicist Dr Vernon Wong and the late Professor Aggrey Brown, who were inducted last year.
Four other Old Boys’ were also recognised with honour awards – former Mayor of Montego Bay Charles Sinclair, Dr Barry Hastings, Michael Hylton and Canadian businessman Winston HoFatt – during the well-attended function.
Meanwhile, six teachers from Cornwall College were also recognised by the Old Boys’ at the function. They received the Mary HoFatt/Gladys Myers Incentive Awards for their outstanding contribution to education at the school during the 2013/2014 academic year.
