Chuckle Berry gets real with Luciano
Five years ago, deejay Chuckle Berry had a number one song with Good Life. Recently, he collaborated with Luciano on the single Real Life, produced by Chris Sierra for the Nubran label.
“Real Life came about in Canada. Me and Luciano vibe it in a car and just went to the studio to record it. We sent it to the UK and Europe before Jamaica, and it ended up on several charts in Germany, Italy, and France,” Chuckle Berry said.
The Canada-based artiste credits regular tours of Europe for his popularity in that region.
“From the early days, mi a tour Europe. I would say Europeans are more familiar with my catalogue,” Chuckle Berry noted. “I have also done more shows there than in Jamaica, so I get more respect there.”
Chuckle Berry (real name Byron Brown) is completing an album due for release in early 2015.
