AgroGrace sets up temporary store in Port Maria
Farm and garden retail chain AgroGrace will be setting up a pop-up store on Stennett Street, in Port Maria, St Mary from this Thursday through to Saturday.
The term ‘pop-up’ refers to the short-term duration of the store, which is usually anywhere from a single day to a few days.
Chief Executive Officer of Hardware and Lumber, of which AgroGrace is a division, Donna Doran said it is a concept the company plans on rolling out to other communities in a similar fashion in the near future.
“This is an exciting new opportunity for AgroGrace to reach out to and engage communities in which we have no permanent or physical presence,” she said.
AgroGrace General Manager Olive Downer-Walsh said, “The AgroGrace Pop Up Store “allows us to introduce products and services to benefit both direct retail customers in the farming community as well as the large network of dealer customers in the areas that the pop-up store is positioned.”
She said AgroGrace, a division of Hardware and Lumber Ltd, a member of the GraceKennedy Group of Companies, is generally known to set and deliver the industry standard for high-quality crop care and public health products, as well as an unmatched resource for technical information.
“This is yet another opportunity to connect with the market in providing product stewardship and adding value to Jamaica’s agricultural productivity. It is with great pride that we continue to supply, inform and disseminate information about our high quality range of products and services,” Downer-Walsh said.
