SANDZ, the popular beach party series, is set to return to the White Oasis in Portmore, St Catherine, on January 1.

The launch is set to take place at Fiction Fantasy in St Andrew on Sunday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

According to Carlton Davy of Supreme Events, since the initial staging, Sandz has emerged as one of the must-attend events.

“Sandz is centred on the theme of chilling on the beach while being treated to a premium entertainment package. The idea for Sandz came about after members of the entities had a little get-together at a popular beach in Portmore occasionally, to escape the summer heat with friends. The gathering became an inspiration to share the same flex with many who they felt would be appreciative of a similar environment, and as such decided to market the setting to attract persons with similar tastes,” said Davy.

The event, first held in May, was last held on August 31.

Celebrities, corporate executives and entertainment personalities are among the patrons who support the event.

Each staging of Sandz is held at a different venue. The event’s format is best described as a cooler fete. Patrons are encouraged to carry their own igloo. Refreshment is also available at a cash bar. VIP patrons will also be treated to inclusive gourmet cuisine at various intervals of the event; a sky deck view and party favours.
