Tarrus Riley gives musical gift
SINGER Tarrus Riley’s annual free Christmas concert held at Emancipation Park in New Kingston recently was a huge success.
The more than six-hour-long event, put on by the artiste, is a way of giving back to fans, and those on hand enjoyed every minute of the musical package. Several other artistes also performed.
In between co-hosting duties with Isis Miller, Riley — who is often referred to as ‘Singy Singy’ — lived up to his moniker.
He was ably supported by the ‘who’s who’ of entertainment including Cherine Anderson, Karen Smith, Jah Bouks, Duane Stephenson, Papa D, Mackeehan, Errol Dunkley, Ninjaman, Boris Gardner, Third World, TOK, Raging Fyah, Busy Signal, Konshen, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Junior Reid, Richie Spice, Kabaka Pyramid, Demarco, Bling Dawg and a nine-year-old girl called Xylophone.
