Faulklands, Irwin hunt back-to-back wins
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Faulklands SC and Irwin FC will be going after back-to-back wins today as the St James Football Association’s Sandals/ATL Division One competition continues with three games, all set to start at 3:30 pm.
Faulkands SC, Irwin and Club Stars are tied in the lead with three points each.
Faulklands SC will host Mountain Villa at Jarrett Park, Irwin will face Revelations FC at the UDC Field, while Westgreen and Copperwood FC will meet at Westgreen.
Faulkland SC, who were promoted at the end of last season, started the current campaign with a 4-0 win over Seaview FC, while Mountain Villa drew 2-2 with Revelations FC in their opening game.
Irwin had defeated Westgreen 3-1 in their opener and should have the edge over Revelations FC.
Copperwood FC are on one point after their opening 1-1 draw against Somerton FC, the latter being last season’s Division Two champions.
