Marl Road face Lilliput Rovers in Sandals/ATL Senior League
ROSE HALL, St James — Marl Road FC will be hunting back-to-back wins today when they take on Lilliput Rovers at the Wyndham field in a first round St James Football Association Sandals/ATL Senior League game, set to start at 3:30 pm.
Lilliput Rovers are tied for second place on four points with two other teams, one more than Marl Road who are coming off a win last week over Norwood Strikers and will be confident of taking another three points.
Lilliput Rovers were held 2-2 in their last outing but have scored at least two goals in each of their games played so far.
Norwood Strikers, who were relegated from the Western Confederation Super League last season, were beaten in their opening game and will be seeking to bounce back when they take on Montego Bay United Under-21 at the Montego Bay Community College.
Despite the presence of a number of top schoolboy players MBU Under-21 have lost both games played so far and will be desperate for a victory today.
Meanwhile, a third game, Little Miami vs Reggae Youths, that was set for the UDC field has been rescheduled for Wednesday.
