Man killed in his yard, Crime Stop offers reward
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Crime Stop Jamaica is offering a J$100,000-reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who murdered Errol Osborne outside his home in Fontabelle, St Mary, about 9:20 am on Friday, January 2.
The agency reports that Osborne had just returned from a New Year’s trip to his home in the United States and was on his way to his house in Fontabelle when he picked up two men who were to help him plant crops.
On arrival at the property, Osborne parked the car and was about to get out of it when a gunman allegedly ran into the yard from across the road and shouted “Don’t move!” He reportedly pointed the gun at Osbourne and the two men (passengers) ran.
The men reported hearing several explosions shortly after.
The police were summoned and on their arrival found Osborne lying on his back inside his car. He had been shot several times all over his body and died on the spot.
Crime Stop says it is anxious to help the family and friends of Osborne find closure to the murder. Anyone with information that can assist the police is being asked to contact Crime Stop at 311.
