Flow launches Advanced Video Service
COLUMBUS Communications Jamaica launched its Advanced Video Service (AVS) which will enable customers to view cable on their own schedule, while doubling the number of High Definition (HD) channels.
The launch of AVS at this time makes sense from a business perspective, and is part of the strategic mission of the company, placing Flow among world leaders in offering the service, said recently appointed acting Managing Director CCJL, Grant Hume, at the launch for the service on Wednesday. The service is to be rolled out to all of Flow’s Caribbean markets, starting in Jamaica.
“This is just a taste of the innovations to come under the new customer-focused merged entity” stated Hume. “The merger of Columbus International and Cable & Wireless will result in the creation of the Caribbean’s most advanced fibre optic network. With this network we are able to deliver voice, video and data solutions never before offered in this region at fast speeds consistently,” he said.
