Israel will only drag the US into a war
Dear Editor,
All patriotic Americans should be outraged at the despicable action of the Speaker of the House of Representatives to embarrass the president of the United States.
In unprecedented callousness and hatred he invited the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, to speak to Congress without notifying the White House or the State Department. When was an insignificant country with its arrogant prime minster given the authority to challenge the policies of the United States and to publicly chastise the most powerful leader in the world?
The economy and security of Israel is totally dependent on the benevolence of the US to the tune of $4 billion yearly. Israel is not interested in peace. Their goal is to keep Arabs divided and to bomb with impunity any country that fights to protect its people and its land. Israel is armed with nuclear weapons so their fear of Iran’s nuclear programme is a farce. Any attempt by Iran to strike Israel with a nuclear weapon would result in their total destruction and their leaders know this. Israel wants to control Gaza, annex the West Bank, expand on the Golan Heights in Syria in order to control its water supply and control of the Jordan River. I consider it a rogue country which is a proxy for the US in the region, always prepared for war with its invented enemies and will eventually drag the US into war that will result in unprecedented bloodshed and destruction.
