‘Let’s Do Brunch’ for SeaWind Beach Club
MONTEGO BAY, St James — THE SeaWind Beach Club in Montego Bay will be the host of the inaugural Let’s Do Brunch set for International Women’s Day on Sunday.
The event will feature local and international dishes from award-winning executive chef and general manager of SeaWind Beach Club and Calypso Restaurant, Luis Fitch.
Fitch, a Mexican, has worked and led restaurants in over six countries, copping numerous awards including the Five Star Diamond Award for excellence from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
His menu will include a selection of authentic Jamaican and epicurean breakfast options, pasta station, champagne and mimosa bar, carving stations with succulent lamb and turkey, pasta stations, jerk station, cold salad and cheese bar, egg station, shrimp cocktails, smoked salmon and fresh ceviche, fruit stations and an extensive dessert bar.
“We were very pleased when Chef Luis said he’d be willing to accommodate us for this event. We wanted something different to celebrate and honour the women of western Jamaica, to provide a networking event with a difference for young professionals, and raise well-needed funds for charities near and dear to my heart,” said Patrique Goodall, managing director of Goodall and Company and conceptualiser of ‘Let’s Do Brunch’.
One hundred per cent of proceeds of ‘Let’s Do Brunch’ will go directly to three charities — the Good Shepherd Foundation, MoBay City Run Scholarship Fund and the Patti-Ann Allyssa Lothian Foundation for Youth.
