JAMAICA Observer online readers have reacted with dismay to news that thieves had broken into tombs at the May Pen cemetery in Kingston. The incident happened minutes after 7:00 am yesterday. Here are some edited comments:

This has been happening for a very long time. It’s just that they did not get caught. They used to steal the jewellery that are sometimes buried with the deceased as well.
