CFW Launches Year #15
Boosting Jamaica’s catchet on the global fashion stage as a ‘hot zone’ for model talent, The Rock’s pioneering modelling agency Pulse is far advanced in preparations for its 15th staging of Caribbean Fashion Week (CFW) next month.
The Kingsley Cooper and Hilary Phillips-founded agency — celebrating its 35th anniversary this year — hosted the CFW launch at The Refuge bar in Villa Ronai, Stony Hill on Tuesday night, welcoming an after-hours crowd of sponsors, media personnel, and specially invited guests to mingle ahead of formal proceedings that became a long-winded hour of rostered endorsements .
Cooper, executive chairman of Pulse Investments, which has exponentially grown to include interests in real estate and entertainment, divulged that 2015’s CFW will be labelled ‘Total Fashion’ and will incorporate select boutiques, gyms, spas, and restaurants in the mix of locations to give Fashion Week a wider-ranging reach.
