And now…Singry
THE singer formerly known as Khristopher is now Singry. The New York-based entertainer, whose popular songs include Who’s Holding Donna Now, All I Have to Give and That Way, said the change was on the cards for some time.
“I decided to do a name change to end the confusion between other artistes using the same name, plus I have been absent from the music scene for a while and thought that if I’m going to start over, I might as well start fresh with a new name and a new image,” Singry explained.
He first used the moniker in 2005 when he began producing songs.
Born Mark Williams, Singry is originally from Falmouth, Trelawny. He has been living in New York for the past 15 years.
During that period, he has made a name for himself in the tri-state area with several songs that made the New York Reggae charts.
His latest single is Weak, produced for Singry Records.
