‘Thank you for this gift’
THE Jamaica Civil Service Association (JCSA) in celebrating Civil Servants week presented a Singer Sewing machine to the School of Hope in Clear Spring, Drapers, Portland.
Third Vice-President of JCSA Sharon Anderson, in making the presentation expressed hope that the sewing machine will help in enhancing learning.
“We found that this was a need here, and as we normally do this during this week, we hope that the students and institution will benefit from this gift,” she said.
Student Shemar McKenzie in receiving the gift on behalf of the institution expressed great appreciation.
“We thank you for this gift and are happy that you have considered us and we will use this machine to the best of our ability,” he said smiling.
