Biggaton burns bad mind
DEEJAY Biggaton has issues with people he deems as ‘bad mind’, and lets his feelings known on his new song, Why They So Ungrateful.
The track is produced by MEM Productions, a London-based company.
“Wi looking at people wey yu help in life, and they turn around an’ be ungrateful in different forms,” said Biggaton.
Why They So Ungrateful is expected to be on his third album which is scheduled for release late this year.
Biggaton’s previous albums, Optical View and Eyes of the Wise, were released in 2005 and 2010, respectively.
The gap between projects, he points out, is deliberate.
“Wi try nuh rush things yuh nuh, ’cause when yuh put out a album it should have quality,” said the Manchester-born artiste.
Biggaton (Kevin Roye) has been recording since his teens when he was a student at Holmwood Technical. His first song, Equal Living, was recorded in 1996 for producer Oswald Brooks’s Traffic Jam Records.
Three years later, he did What a Thing with Mutabaruka, which remains one of his better-known songs.
In addition to Why They So Ungrateful, Biggaton recently recorded Bawl fi Life with the Firehouse Crew.
