Campari lead three in NADB KO semis
Campari are on course to lift this year’s National Association of Domino Bodies (NABD) Kingston & St Andrew Region Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum Knockout Championship after they easily brushed aside Urban Development Corporation (UDC) 73-55 in quarter-final action at the National Housing Trust’s Car Park last Friday.
By virtue of last week’s victory, the unbeaten Division One team has now logged a record of 11 consecutive victories in all competitions (both the league and knockout) this season.
In other quarter-finals results, National Baking Company got the better of Bank Of Jamaica 61-48 and JUTC went down 67-69 to Gleaner, but still advanced to the semi-finals as the best loser.
“The competition has really grown and the matches are very exciting as well. All teams are playing good and I expect another exciting day of competition today,” Humbert Davis, vice-president at NABD told the Jamaica Observer.
The semi-finals and final of the knockout championship take place today at the same venue.
