All set for Cheers
FALMOUTH, Trelawny — ALL is now set for this Sunday’s edition of Summer Cheers in the Cheers party series, to be held at Chill Out Hut in Greenwood, near the Trelawny/St James border.
Organisers are expecting anywhere between 1,000 and 1,500 patrons at the event, which is scheduled to start at 2:00pm and will end at 10:00pm.
The Cheers series now in its 11th year is a biannual beach party hosted by ANT Entertainment, which comprises Summer Cheers held in June and Cheers All White Everything in December.
“The Cheers party series has been a tremendous qsuccess over the years. In fact, we have outgrown our original location which was at Time ‘N Place in Trelawny, and so over the last two years we have been staging the event at the spacious Chill Out Hut,” said Radcliff Smith, one of Cheers’ promoters.
He cited the objectives of Cheers which include to provide an enjoyable environment for citizens of western Jamaica to socialise; entertaining a diverse crowd based on the selection of music presented, and to provide secure and convenient facilities in a bid to ensure the comfort and welfare of patrons.
Sunday’s event will feature Stone Love, DJs Jubba and Crazy Chris.
