21 students achieved GSAT perfect scores — Education Ministry
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Ministry of Education is reporting that 21 students across the island achieved perfect scores in this year’s sitting of the Grade Six Achievement Test in March.
A media release from the ministry Wednesday said 12 of the 21 students are from primary schools while nine are from preparatory schools.
It said the students are from the following schools: Holy Childhood Preparatory & Academy, Wolmer’s Preparatory, Unity Primary (2), The Queen’s Preparatory (2), St Richard’s Primary Burnt Savannah Primary, Corinaldi, Avenue Primary, Mandeville Primary & Junior High, Mona Preparatory, United Learning Centre, Sts Peter & Paul Preparatory, Bridgeport Primary, Vaz preparatory,
Jessie Ripoll Primary (2), St John the Baptist Preparatory, Ensom City Primary, Half Way Tree Primary, and Mannings Hill Primary.
The ministry also said that it will not disclose the names of the students at this time. However, the scholarship awardees are scheduled to be announced next week.
