FIFA fitness course on at JFF Football Centre today

The FIFA Fitness Course being organised by the Jamaica Football Federation has received positive response from the Premier League clubs as well as parish associations.

The course begins today at the JFF Football Centre at the University of the West Indies.

Head coaches, technical directors and fitness coaches from 11 Premier League clubs and clubs from all parishes have registered to attend.

The JFF has also invited leading tertiary institutions, GC Foster, UTech and Mico College to send representatives.

Topics include the role of a fitness coach, endurance, flexibility, and speed.

The course will be conducted by FIFA fitness instructor and former German player, Tobias Wawroschek who was scheduled to arrive in the island on Saturday.

The opening ceremony takes place at 9:15 am today at the centre. Instructor Wawroschek will outline his plans for the course.
